For nearly three decades, Carol Kinsel has been a steady, compassionate presence for seniors and their families across Greater Sacramento. After earning her Biology degree from CSU Sacramento, she spent 18 years caring for patients as a dental hygienist before following her calling and founding Senior Care Solutions in 1997. In 2010, she deepened her expertise with a certificate in Geriatric Care Management from the University of Florida.

Carol’s heart for service is woven through her community work: she has served on the advisory board for the Sacramento Senior Safe House (operated by Volunteers of America) and the board of directors for Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center, contributed to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and the annual Mental Health and Aging Conference, and poured her energy into fundraising that lifts up local caregivers. A trusted, down-to-earth speaker, she loves giving families practical tools—and a sense of hope—as they navigate the complexities of aging.

Carol’s mission is personal. Caring for her father through Alzheimer’s changed the course of her life. She openly shares the mistakes she made and the guidance she wished she’d had, which inspired her to build a compassionate, skilled team to offer those very supports to others. Although retired, Carol remains quietly involved behind the scenes—cheering on the team she built, championing families, and ensuring that kindness, integrity, and clarity remain at the heart of Senior Care Solutions.
