ALW Program Coordinator

Taylor Flynn joined Senior Care Solutions at the end of 2021 as Administrative Assistant and now serves as one of the Program Coordinators for the Assisted Living Waiver Program.

He graduated from UC Irvine with his Bachelor’s degree in Criminology & Social Ecology in 2018, and moved up to Sacramento to be closer to loved ones. He’s recently found himself back in Southern California for similar reasons. Before joining the Senior Care Solutions team, he worked in the funeral industry and has learned how to sensitively guide families through some of the most challenging circumstances in their lives. After, he did administrative work for a home health company that taught him even more about the world of senior care and the supportive services that led him to where he is today.

Taylor also previously volunteered his free time with various unhoused outreach groups, including the Sacramento Homeless Union, to provide food and supplies to multiple unhoused communities around Sacramento. It was there he learned more about the large proportions of older and disabled individuals among them.

“With my background in customer-facing jobs, my communication strengths, and service navigation experience, I am often the first person that families seek out to ask questions while wading through an often-confusing program. It is rewarding to start off that relationship by reassuring them we have their back. Even more so when we finally get to see the success stories.”
