Owner/ Family Consultant/GCM

Carol Kinsel is the owner of Senior Care Solutions and has been serving individuals and families in Greater Sacramento since 1997. She and her team provide education, resources and placement referrals for seniors. After graduating with a degree in Biology from CSU Sacramento, Carol worked for 18 years as a dental hygienist before founding Senior Care Solutions.

In 2010, Carol completed her studies in Geriatric Care Management from the University of Florida. She currently serves on the advisory board for the Sacramento Senior Safe House (operated by Volunteers of America), the board of directors of Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center, and has worked on several committees, including the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s and the annual Mental Health and Aging Conference. Carol has also been an integral part in many fundraising efforts to benefit local caregivers. A well-known speaker, she frequently presents on a variety of topics and is committed to educating and equipping individuals in the community with tools to navigate the senior care maze.

Carol’s personal experience caring for her own father changed the course of her life. Her father had Alzheimer’s disease, and she openly shares that she made many mistakes throughout her caregiving experience that could have been avoided. For the past 20 years, Carol has worked hard to establish a talented and passionate team who provide the very services she wishes she had access to when her father received his diagnosis. With compassion and integrity, Carol’s main goal is to help make the journey a bit easier for other families—offering guidance and valuable information.
